IAPA Johannesburg Chartered Accountants (SA) (IAPA Johannesburg), is an independent member firm of IAPA, which is a global association of separate, independently owned and managed accountancy firms; which currently ranks as the 10 largest global association based on revenue with a global revenue of $921 million. This association has 339 offices with 1374 partners and some 9771 staff in 53 countries. On the local front, the association has offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
IAPA Johannesburg and its partners are registered and affiliated both with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).
Accreditation with IRBA entails audit practice reviews for both the firm and individual partners, conducted by IRBA from time to time.
IAPA has recently passed all such practice reviews and in so doing qualifies to undertake audit of public interest companies which includes Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed companies and subsidiaries of JSE listed companies.
In addition to this, IAPA Johannesburg is one of 26 auditing firms listed by the JSE as an accredited auditing firm qualifying us to audit JSE listed companies.
